"RollArt® Fascia massage roller size "L" For gentle, deep massaging. Our biggest fascia massage roller! It’s wide grooves provide for an optimum effect. As an alternative to our size “M” roller it is ideal for larger parts of the body, such as backs or buttocks. Many of our customers say that it also provides lower back relief. It offers gentle massage to thickened and tight fasciae. Its alder wood material which is said to have energising and cleansing effects, supplementing the roller treatment.

The roller (excluding handle) is 22.5cm long and approx. 9cm in diameter.

Application description

The fascia massage roller in this size is used primarily for large areas on the horse such as croup, buttocks, neck and lower neck. Some horses also enjoy having the roller applied with no pressure over the spine. To do this, hold the roller by only one of the two handles to guide it gently over the spine.

The wide ribbing of this massage roller has the effect of gentle massage to the surface, but intense effect when used with more pressure. It also is suitable for massage to the horse’s stomach/abdominal area. For this it is recommended that the massage is carried out by two people positioned on either side of the horse.

Ultimately the patient, horse, or dog will determine the amount of pressure to be applied.
